Hayward Wolfpack FC Tryouts

HWFC is offering two tryout sessions: Saturday, March 26 (6pm-8pm) and Saturday, April 2nd (8pm-10pm). Individuals should only register for one (1) tryout session.  Registration CLOSES on Thursday, March 24th at 11pm.  

Tryout Info: Players should arrive 30 minutes before the tryout start time and go to the Check-In Table with a valid ID or proof of event registration. Please wear a gray shirt, black shorts, black socks, shin guards and cleats. You will be given a numbered pinnie to wear for evaluation purposes. The tryout will last approximately two hours. *Players must turn 18 by August 1st, 2022 to register and be selected*

Selection: Players will be notified of their status within three (3) days of the last tryout date. A minimum of 18 players will be selected for the team, and must pay the entirety of the registration fee ($80 + Tryout Fee) within one week of notification to reserve their spot on the team. If payment is not recieved in a timely manner, the spot may be opened up to alternate selections.

Players not selected for the team may be named as alternates. Players not selected are also encouraged to register for our DASL or HRSL squads, and may be called up to play when there are absences. In addition, the HWFC Tryout registration fee will go towards your DASL registration fee. (For more information, please go to DASL or HRSL pages under website "Programs" tab)

Season Info: HWFC play in the WPASL, the highest level amateur soccer league in Northwestern Wisconsin. Games begin April 24th and end August 6th, and are mosty on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Practices will be in the Twin Ports. Practices will be twice a week (dates tbd, time likely 6-8pm)  in April , and then will only be on Thursday evenings for the remainder of the season, with an optional practice in Hayward on Wednesday evenings. Home games are played in Hayward and away games are throughout WI and MN. (For more information, please go to the HWFC page under website "Programs" tab)
