Superior City FC Women's Tryouts

**READ THIS BEFORE REGISTERING**

SCFC is offering an open tryout for our UPSL Women's team. The tryout date has been postponed due to snow/ice on the turf. We will send an email with a new date on Wednesday, March 13th. In order to be selected, you still need to register by Tuesday, March 14th at 11:00 PM to be considered for our club's teams. Tryouts will be held in the Twin Ports-area, still on a weekend date, and likely in early-April.

Tryout Info: Players should arrive 30 minutes before the tryout start time and go to the Check-In Table with a valid ID or proof of event registration. Please wear a gray shirt, black shorts, black socks, shin guards and cleats. You will be given a numbered pinnie to wear for evaluation purposes. The tryout will last approximately two hours. *Players must turn 16 by August 1st, 2023 to register and be selected*

Selection: Players will be notified of their status within three (3) days of the last tryout date. A minimum of 20 players will be selected for the team, and must pay the entirety of the registration fee ($70 + Tryout Fee) within one week of notification to reserve their spot on the team. If payment is not recieved in a timely manner, the spot may be opened up to alternate selections.

Players not selected for the team may be encouraged to play on our DASL team. In addition, the SCFC Tryout registration fee would go towards your DASL registration fee. (For more information, please go to the Whalebacks page under website "Programs" tab)

Season Info: SCFC will play in the UPSL Premier Midwest-West (Pre-professional) for the 2023 season. Games begin April 29th and end July 15th, and are mostly on Saturdays. Practices will be in the Twin Ports. Practices will be three times per week (Planned: Wed/Fri in the morning and Th in the evening). Home games are played at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex in Superior, WI and away games are throughout WI and MN.

If you are ABSOLUTELY UNABLE to attend tryouts but still want to play, please register for the tryouts and indicate that you are unable to attend in the last answer box.  We will reach out to you with alternative tryout information.
