KNOW YOUR OPPONENT: PORTSIDE FC

WHO ARE THEY?

Portside FC were formed in 2016 as a member of the Duluth Amateur Soccer League (DASL). The club was formed as Duluth FC's second team, filling the void in the DASL left by the Bluegreens when they left for the American Premier League (APL) for the 2016 season. Portside has been managed for the past 7 years by Pat Sterner, an original Duluth FC member. The squad has finished no lower than 4th place in the DASL throughout the club's existence, including three 2nd place finishes in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

HOW DID THEY DO LAST YEAR?

LOOKING FORWARD:

This will be Portside FC's first match of the 2022 season, and they will compete in the Duluth Amateur Soccer League this upcoming season. Several Wolfpack players double roster for Portside during non-WPASL gamedays, including current Wolfpack leading scorers Mally Lumsden and Fin Huffington.

HISTORY AGAINST PORTSIDE FC:

HWFC and Portside FC currently split the all-time series with a 1-1-0 record between the clubs. The last match between the squads was in 2021 with the Wolfpack taking home a narrow 4-3 win.
