WHO ARE THEY?
Poskin Jets FC were formed in 2020 and joined the Wisconsin Primary Amateur Soccer League (WPASL) for their inaugural season of play in 2021. The club was formed by brothers Connor and Cole Bates, who were looking to provide Barron with a club that has strong sense of community and culture, also committed to excellence and growth of soccer both on and off the field. The name "Poskin" refers to a small community outside of Barron where the Bates brothers grew up. Many of the club's players from the 2021 season were standout athletes from the WIAA state-bound Barron High School teams who made three straight trips from 2013-2015.
HOW DID THEY DO LAST YEAR?
Poskin Jets FC competed in the Wisconsin Primary Amateur Soccer League during the 2021 season. The Jets tied Lobos FC for third place in the league, with 15 points and a 5-5-0 record.
LOOKING FORWARD:
Poskin Jets FC have played in three friendly matches this year with a shortened roster, accumulating a 1-2 record with a win against Barron Soccer Team, and losses to Barron Soccer Team and Green Machine FC. Poskin hopes to improve on last year's results, adding 16 new players to their roster for the upcoming season. The Jets' home stadium will be Birch Street Field in Barron, WI.
HISTORY AGAINST POSKIN JETS FC:
HWFC lead the all-time series against Poskin Jets FC with a 2-0-0 record. The last match between the squads was in 2021 with the Wolfpack taking home a 2-0 win.
