SCFC II dropped their first game on Sunday, April 27th in a 4-2 loss to Rock City FC of the MRSL. 

Rock City opened the scoring 30 seconds into the game on a defensive turnover in the Wolfpack box. In the 38th minute, the Hosts doubled their lead on a breakaway off a mis-hit swing ball. Kye Marsden (Lake Superior College) hit the crossbar for Superior's best chance of the first half. 

At the half, SCFC II switched formation and saw a much better second frame. Rock City scored twice, in the 49th and 73rd minutes, on two self-inflicted defensive blunders indicative of a young back-line. In the 78th minute, the Pack broke through when Landon James (Superior HS) slotted home a ball on a cross from Rizal Howes (Cloquet HS). The Wolfpack cut the lead to two in the 87th minute when Ethan DeFoe (Superior HS) scorched a ball under the bar from outside the 18, with an assist to Evan Ridd (UW-Superior), but it was too little, too late. 

Dru Senich (Lake Superior College) and Cody Christ (UM-Morris) both had two saves in the game and shots finished 8-6 in favor of Rock City FC.
